Jason has been practicing Acupuncture and Chinese medicine for close to 20 years. After completing his training in New Zealand he quickly got involved working within the sports medicine sector which saw him working closely with professional and up and coming rugby and league athletes.
His personal interest in surfing took him to be one of the primary onsite therapist for the Surfing New Zealand competitive seasons in 2009 and 2010. During this time he was also invited to be an onsite therapist for the International Surfing Association (ISA) World Juniors Surfing Championship held in Piha, NZ in 2010. After moving to Australia in 2012, Jason continued working within private practice. In 2015, Jason commenced his teaching career with Endeavour College of Natural Health on the Gold Coast, where he worked as a clinical supervisor and lecturer to the next generation of Chinese medicine practitioners.
Jason has spent time training under some of the worlds best and most regarded Chinese medicine doctors, picking up a diverse bag of skills. His main focuses are pain management, mental health and women’s health. Jason has worked closely with midwifery groups of the Mater hospital in Brisbane and the Tweed and Murwillumbah hospitals aiding with obstetric care. He has also studied under Dr. Alex Joannou learning his specific mental health protocols that are now being introduced to GPs around Australia.
Jason draws from all of his experience to give the best results he can with all of his patients, he looks forward to helping you to better health today.
